My Background and Training
Clients describe me as a warm, empathic practitioner. I have a great deal of experience of working with people in a variety of settings. I use humour and compassion in my work with clients.
Before training in counselling and psychotherapy I worked in Education for many years with students with additional learning or language needs and their parents.
I continue to work with students and to facilitate parenting programmes.
I have co-written and edited a guide for long-stay patients in hospital.
My counselling and psychotherapy training is with Spectrum, a UKCP accredited Humanistic training centre in Finsbury Park North London. I am in ongoing professional development and in supervision. I abide by the UKCP code of practice.
